Sep. 30th, 2012 12:01 amTony Stark was wide awake when his phone started buzzing in the 3am hour. He was busy taking things apart and ignored it for a good 15 rings before finally looking at the display. His mouth tugged in to a smirk as he gave the phone an 'oh really' look. He hit the talk button and put it to his ear. "You know if the call is after 2:30, it's for the dirty."
"Can you pick me up? I'm in Cuddington." He could almost hear the eye roll at his greeting.
He looked at his watch, 3:16am, and shrugged as he got up from his desk and headed out of his workshop. "You know that's a two hour drive, right? I'm a busy man whose time is very valuable and hard to come by."
"Get here in an hour and I'll make it worth your while." That sold him.
An hour later, and surprisingly with no speeding tickets, Tony pulled over at the curb Natasha was standing on. He hadn't planned on asking why she needed a ride, but he did wonder why she was in a party dress, half covered in mud. "I was thinking of the other kind of dirty when you called, but hey mud wrestling is a sport too. Though if you took up mud wrestling and didn't invite me to your first match, I may shed a tear."
Natasha opened the door with a large swing and slammed it shut once she sat down. "Do you want me to pay for blueberry waffles or not?" She did up her buckle and stared straight forward and glared at the windshield with a fiery vengeance, like it had insulted her.
"I got here in an hour, didn't I?"
